We seek a Senior AI Engineer to join our team and contribute their expertise in serverless cloud compute, advanced language modeling, and Google Vertex API integration.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize serverless cloud computing architectures for AI workloads, with a focus on advanced language modeling and natural language processing (NLP) applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deploy new AI models and NLP features leveraging Google Vertex AI and other cloud-based AI services.
- Ensure the performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness of AI deployments in serverless cloud environments.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging of AI models and related infrastructure.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in serverless cloud compute, language modeling, and AI/ML technologies.
- Contribute to the development of AI models, NLP pipelines, and related applications using graph and vector database technologies, C++, and Node.js.
- Leverage cloud development skills to integrate AI models and NLP services with cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Develop a deep understanding of the range of AI/ML technologies, industry-leading product capabilities, and supported integration technologies and APIs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Senior AI Engineer or Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in serverless cloud computing, natural language processing (NLP), and language modeling.
- Extensive experience with serverless cloud platforms like Google Cloud Functions, AWS Lambda, or similar offerings.
- Deep understanding of advanced language modeling techniques, such as transformer models, few-shot learning, and prompt engineering.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and Node.js, with experience in developing high-performance, scalable AI/ML applications.
- Familiarity with graph and vector database technologies, and their application in AI/ML workflows.
- Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face Transformers.
- Experience with Google Vertex AI, including model training, deployment, and monitoring.
- Understanding of cloud architecture patterns, containerization (e.g., Docker), and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform).
- Ability to write efficient, secure, well-documented, and clean code.
- Experience with automated testing, continuous integration, and deployment pipelines.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and written/oral communication skills.
- Practical experience developing enterprise-class AI/ML systems is a requirement.
- Must have been a senior member of a highly successful AI/ML product development team where the candidate made significant architectural and programming contributions.
